Ben Utter Trail Cascades
Exeter, Rhode Island
Small rocky drops along Falls River on the Ben Utter Trail in Arcadia, between the trailhead and Stepstone Falls.
At a glance
Overview
The Ben Utter Trail Cascades are the small rocky drops along Falls River as the Ben Utter Trail climbs through Arcadia Management Area toward Stepstone Falls. Parking is limited dirt pull-offs near the trailhead; the full out-and-back to Stepstone is about 2.7 miles, but the cascades come earlier. Treat it as a viewing-and-rock-scramble stop, not a swim.
