At a glance
Overview
Cascade Brook Falls is a roughly 12-foot seasonal drop inside the 27-acre Ken Weber Conservation Area at Cascade Brook, in the Greenville section of Smithfield. Locals call it Rhode Island's tallest natural waterfall. The out-and-back is a short, well-maintained loop through hemlock woods; the falls run strong in spring and after rain, thin out by late summer. Viewing only — do not climb on the wet ledge.
