Getting there
Use the Brighton State Park entrance at 102 State Park Road in Island Pond. From Island Pond village, head 2 miles east on VT 105, turn south onto Lakeshore Drive, then follow signs to State Park Road. The main day-use beach is a long sandy stretch on Island Pond with a bathhouse and restrooms; a separate campers' beach sits on Spectacle Pond inside the park.
