Getting there
Bristol Ledges is a HIKING overlook trail, not a swim spot. The trail climbs to a rocky outcrop with panoramic views of Bristol village and the Adirondacks. There is NO parking at the trailhead. Park in downtown Bristol, walk east on Main Street, turn left on Mountain Street, then right on Mountain Terrace, and continue to the gate with the 'no parking' sign that marks the trailhead. The trail is unmarked and navigation requires attention; rocky, rooty, and sometimes muddy underfoot.
