Overview
Brook cascades. Plan for about 1-2 minutes from the lot (0.02 mi one way if you hike the full approach). Water use is often conditional on flow, staffing, and season—double-check before you suit up.

Getting there
The Chester Recreation Area at 153 Lovers Lane Road is the Town of Chester's OUTDOOR POOL and Pinnacle Recreation Area -- not a natural swimming hole. The pool operates Tuesday-Saturday noon to 6 PM in summer with limited adult-swim hours Monday and Sunday 5-6 PM; swim lessons and seasonal schedules vary (call 802-875-3603 to confirm). If you came for a natural Williams River swim, head instead to Rainbow Rock Swimming Hole: from Chester village take VT 11 / Main Street, turn onto Pleasant Street (VT 11), then take the first right after the railroad tracks onto Green Mountain Turnpike (gravel) about 0.3 miles to a small pull-off on the right (managed by the Town of Chester via Vermont River Conservancy).
