Getting there
Crystal Lake State Park is at 96 Bellwater Avenue, Barton, VT 05822. The day-use entrance sits on the west shore of Crystal Lake just off US 5 / Eastern Avenue -- follow the park road to the gatehouse, pay the day-use fee, and park in the main beach lot. From the lot it is a flat one- to two-minute walk across the lawn to the sandy swim beach and designated swim area. The park is open from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend; day-use hours are 10:00 AM to official sunset.
