Getting there
Leddy Beach is the sandy swim beach inside LEDDY PARK in the New North End of Burlington, at 216 LEDDY PARK ROAD, on Lake Champlain. From US 7 / North Avenue, turn west onto Leddy Park Road and continue to the park lot. Beach is about 1,500 ft of sandy shoreline split into Leddy Beach North and Leddy Beach South. The park is also accessible from the BURLINGTON GREENWAY bike path and has an indoor ice arena, tennis courts, athletic fields, and a picnic area. IMPORTANT: Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront MONITORS the beach DAILY for cyanobacteria and TWICE WEEKLY for E. coli from Memorial Day through Labor Day; a three-tier status system is posted, and CATEGORY 3 means the beach is CLOSED.
