Getting there
Molly's Falls Pond State Park is Vermont's newest state park, set on a 411-acre reservoir on Molly's Brook in Marshfield, between Barre and Groton State Forest. Shoreline swimming is allowed around most of the pond, but not from the concrete boat ramp at the Vermont Fish and Wildlife access area on the northwest end. The park is largely undeveloped: a portable toilet near the boat launch, no potable water, remote paddle-in campsites, and limited maintained shore access. Day use runs from 10 a.m. to sunset. The dam on the west end is owned by Green Mountain Power; water level can change. Pack in, pack out, and bring your own water. From US 2 in Marshfield, follow signs onto the access road to the state park and fishing access.
