Getting there
Twin Bridges is a local name for a swim pocket on the White River in Stockbridge (Windsor County, stored Unknown and flagged), at or near a pair of road or former road bridges. Like the other informal Stockbridge White River swims, this is an unofficial river stop with no lifeguard, no facilities, and no formal signage. Expect rocky shallows, a deeper bend pool, cold water most of the summer, and current that builds quickly after upstream rain. Park in a allowed shoulder pull-off on VT 100 or the town road, walk down to the river, scout before committing, and respect private frontage. For more established White River access in the same drive, Peavine Park and the VRC corridor sites along the White River in Stockbridge and Bethel are stronger picks.
