Getting there
Warren Store Gorge Swim Spot refers to a small informal pocket on the Mad River right in Warren village, a short walk from the Warren Store. This is an unofficial swim with no lifeguard and no facilities; banks are a mix of village frontage and private property, and the pocket is small. The stretch is more of a quick village dip than a destination swim -- the Mad River here runs cold and narrow, with current that picks up quickly after upstream rain. Park in the village lots and do not block business frontage or private driveways. For the headline Warren-area swim, Warren Falls in the GMNF is the canonical destination; the Warren Covered Bridge pool is the closer village option.
