Getting there
From US Route 7 in East Middlebury, take VT 125 east 0.6 miles to the VT 116 junction, then follow VT 116 north about 4.4 miles to a small Abbey Pond Trail sign on the right. Turn onto the gravel Forest Road and bear right at the fork to reach the trailhead lot. The cascades sit along the brook within the first mile; the full hike continues roughly 1.8 miles one-way to Abbey Pond.
