Getting there
From VT 30/VT 100 in Jamaica village, turn onto Ball Mountain Lane and follow it up to the US Army Corps of Engineers Ball Mountain Lake project entrance at 88 Ball Mountain Lane. Park at the picnic-area trailhead above the dam, walk 0.2 miles downhill on the connector path to the junction with the West River Trail, then turn left and follow the West River Trail to the falls and stone-bridge viewpoint. The gated access road is open daily 8am-8pm from the third Saturday of May through Columbus Day, and Monday-Friday 8am-3pm the rest of the year.
