Getting there
Bristol Memorial Park (locally 'Burnham Falls' or historically 'The Flume') sits about 5 miles east of Bristol village on VT 17, alongside Baldwin Creek. The park is currently CLOSED per the Town of Bristol: the stairs and bridge that historically gave the best view of the 25-foot three-tiered waterfall have been removed for safety, and the park remains closed until the town replaces them. Respect the closure and do not attempt to descend into the chasm.
