Getting there
Butternut Bend Falls is an unconfirmed 4-foot waterfall on the Mettawee River in North Pawlet -- NOT on the Poultney River in West Haven as the this guide's town field implies. The World Waterfall Database lists the site as on private property with no public access; some reports suggest a distant view from a VT 153 bridge. Treat the coordinate as a planning reference and skip the stop unless you independently verify legal access.
