Getting there
Codding Brook Cascades sit on Codding Brook in Belvidere near the Long Trail's Codding Hollow / Laraway Mountain trailhead. From VT 109 in Waterville, drive east on Codding Hollow Road. After 2.4 miles there is a dirt parking lot (for low-clearance cars); higher-clearance vehicles can continue 0.1 miles to a second lot. From there, walk west on Codding Hollow Road about 0.2 miles -- forking right after 0.8 miles of Codding Hollow Road initially and left after 1.3 miles -- to a rough 50-foot spur path on the left that drops to an 8-foot slide and smaller cascades on the brook. Do not try to approach from the east end of Codding Hollow Road; that end is not drivable from a vehicle.
