Getting there
Covered Bridge Falls (also called Thetford Center Falls) is a ~25-foot chain of cascades on the Ompompanoosuc River just downstream of the Thetford Center Covered Bridge on Tucker Hill Road. Park at the small pull-off on Tucker Hill Road just before crossing the covered bridge. The short path on the west side of the river is the cleaner approach; the east-side viewpoint requires light bushwhacking. This is a separate site from the Union Village Dam area and from the Union Village covered bridge -- do not confuse the two.
