Getting there
Access to the Danby Waterslide on Mill Brook is CLOSED to the public. The landowners posted the property after years of litter and unsafe use; do not cross fencing, cables, or no-trespassing signs. The top lip of the slide can be glimpsed from the adjacent town road, but there is no legal approach to the slide itself, to the pool, or to the chute. Skip the stop and choose a public Mill River / Otter Creek alternative instead (Dorset Quarry, Buttermilk Falls Ludlow, or the Mill River at Clarendon Gorge).
