Getting there
East Hardwick Falls is a shallow 15-foot cascading feature on the Lamoille River at East Hardwick in Caledonia County. The World Waterfall Database lists the feature as UNCONFIRMED and no modern guidebook documents a legal trailhead or overlook. The old 19th-century Stevens saw-mill / grist-mill site still anchors local history in East Hardwick village, but the current riverbank is a mix of private land and the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail corridor. Treat the coordinate as a reference only: if you want to pair a walk with a peek at the cascade, use the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail access in East Hardwick and view from the public rail-trail deck where safe; do not descend into private yards.
