Getting there
East Putney Brook Falls is a set of low 5-foot cascades on East Putney Brook in Westminster ( From I-91, take Exit 4 at Putney and follow US 5 north less than a mile into Putney village; turn left onto Kimball Hill Road, which becomes Westminster Road after about 0.2 miles. Continue on Westminster Road roughly 5.4 miles, then turn right onto Patch Road; drive just 200 feet and watch for the small pull-off on the right. From the pull-off, a rough unmarked path drops about 100 feet downhill to an elevated view of the cascades -- stay on the path, the slope is steep and the brush closes in quickly. Short, easy visit; not a swim destination.
