Getting there
Emerson Falls is a compact cascading waterfall on the Sleepers River in St. Johnsbury. From I-91 take Exit 21 and head west on US 2 for 0.7 miles, then turn right onto North Danville Road and immediately take another right onto Emerson Falls Road. Follow Emerson Falls Road downhill about 0.25 miles; the falls are on your left as you descend. Park at the small cul-de-sac at the end of the road about 200 feet downstream from the falls and walk back up along the short worn path to the base. The falls are adjacent to the Emerson Falls Business Center, so expect some industrial context around the top of the falls; the best views are from the road bridge or the short river-edge path at the base.
