Getting there
The 'Falls in South Lincoln' is a minor, locally-known cascade on the New Haven River where it runs through the hamlet of South Lincoln on Lincoln Gap Road (west side of Lincoln Gap, below the summit). There is no signed public trail or named overlook, and the riverbanks here are a mix of private residential land and town right-of-way along Lincoln Gap Road. Best treated as a drive-by look from the village bridge; do not descend onto private lawns. If you want a legitimate swim + falls stop on the New Haven River, drop further west to Bristol Falls (Bartlett Falls) or Circle Current in Bristol/Lincoln, which are well-documented public access points. Lincoln Gap Road is UNPAVED on the Lincoln side, PAVED on the Warren side, and CLOSED to through traffic in winter.
