Getting there
'The Falls' in East Arlington is a small roadside cascade on Roaring Branch / Mill Brook near the village -- not a major destination. The best-documented nearby swim is the Mill Brook 'No Name Hole' on Kelly Stand Road (in the Green Mountain National Forest), reached by taking Kansas Road east out of East Arlington, crossing over US 7 and Roaring Branch (Kansas becomes North Road), then turning right onto Kelly Stand Road just past the bridge and driving about 0.25 miles to a waterfall and pull-off on the right. For the public Battenkill swim-and-look, route visitors to the Arlington Green Covered Bridge instead. Do not cross fences or enter adjacent Warm Brook Farm or residential parcels.
