Getting there
Lowell Falls is a minor cascade along a small brook near the village of Lowell in the Northeast Kingdom. It is lightly documented and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references. Expect a short roadside stop rather than a hike. Pull onto a allowed shoulder near the mapped coordinate, walk down the worn bank to the brook, and stay off adjacent private land. The cascade looks its best a day or two after rain. For a more reliable NEK waterfall, Big Falls of the Missisquoi in North Troy is a stronger single-stop trip.
