Getting there
Marshfield Falls is a tiered cascade on Marshfield Brook near Marshfield village, visible from road bridges above and below the falls. The falls sit on private land, with no public path to the water, so this stop is viewing only. Swimming is not possible at the falls. Drive through Marshfield village on US 2 and look for the brook crossing the road on the village edge, where the upper section drops between stone walls; a second view opens on the lower bridge. Do not descend the bank onto private property. For a nearby swim in the same area, Molly's Falls Pond State Park on Molly's Brook is the designated public shoreline swim.
