Getting there
Mechanicsville Falls is a minor cascade on a brook near the hamlet of Mechanicsville in Hinesburg, Chittenden County. It is and there is no developed access to the water. Treat this as a brief roadside look from a allowed pull-off; do not descend onto adjacent private land. The cascade is flow-dependent and often thin outside of spring. For a stronger Chittenden-area outing, Red Rocks Park in South Burlington or Leddy Beach in Burlington give visitors a real public swim or shoreline walk instead.
