Getting there
Michigan Brook Falls is a minor tiered cascade on Michigan Brook in the town of Chittenden, Rutland County. It is not a canonical named waterfall and there is no developed trail or formal access. Treat this as a quick roadside look where the brook passes under a public road; do not descend onto private land. The cascade runs best within a day or two of rain and often thins out in late summer. For a bigger Chittenden-area stop, the Chittenden Reservoir beach or Green Mountain National Forest's Lefferts Pond area are stronger day-use targets, keeping in mind that Lefferts Pond itself is shallow and weedy.
