Getting there
Middlebury Falls is the short urban cascade on Otter Creek in the center of Middlebury, visible from the Main Street bridge and the Frog Hollow footbridge behind the Marquis Building. It is a scenic feature, not a swim hole, and sits inside the downtown streetscape rather than a natural setting. Park in the municipal lots near Main Street or Frog Hollow and walk a block to the bridges for the view. The water moves hard through the drop, especially in spring and after storms; keep children off the walls and rocks. Dining and shops in downtown Middlebury pair well with the stop if you are already in Addison County.
