Getting there
Moss Glen Falls of Granville is an eighty-foot roadside cascade on Deer Hollow Brook in the Granville Gulf State Reservation, on the west side of VT 100 between Warren and Hancock. Pull off at the small roadside lot directly across from the falls, cross the short footbridge over the brook, and walk the boardwalk to the viewing area. The falls look best in spring and after summer rain; in late summer the flow narrows but still reads well. This is a viewing stop, not a swim hole, and the rocks around the base stay slippery even in settled weather. Combine it with the smaller Little Moss Glen Falls just up VT 100 or with Texas Falls Recreation Area in the Green Mountain National Forest to the south.
