Getting there
North Bristol Cliffs Falls is a small cascade on a brook in the hills above Bristol, near the Bristol Cliffs Wilderness in the Green Mountain National Forest. It is not a canonical destination and there is no signed trail to the falls themselves; access involves a wooded walk-in from a allowed pull-off on a town road near the wilderness edge. Expect loose footing, wet rock near the cascade, and no signage. Park fully clear of the travel lane, respect the wilderness and private-land boundaries, and turn back if the approach feels unsafe. For a reliable Bristol-area stop, Bartlett Falls and Circle Current on the New Haven River along Lincoln Road are the area's well-known swims.
