Getting there
Old Marsh Pond Cascades is a minor set of cascades on the brook below Old Marsh Pond in the Fair Haven / West Haven area of Rutland County. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references. Expect a brief roadside look from a allowed shoulder; do not cross fences onto adjacent private land. The cascades show best within a day or two of rain and often thin out in late summer. For a developed Rutland County swim, Bomoseen State Park beach on Lake Bomoseen and Half Moon Pond State Park in Hubbardton are the area's stronger choices.
