Getting there
Pekin Brook Falls is a minor tiered cascade on Pekin Brook in Calais, Washington County. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references. Expect a brief roadside look from a allowed shoulder; the surrounding banks are largely private woodlot. The cascade runs best within a day or two of rain and often thins out in late summer. For a developed Calais-area outing, the Curtis Pond shoreline and the Kettle Pond trails in Groton State Forest are the stronger choices.
