Getting there
Peters Brook Falls is a small tiered cascade on Peters Brook in the hills of Arlington, Bennington County. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; most of the surrounding land is private woodlot or Green Mountain National Forest boundary country. Expect a short roadside look and a worn scramble down to the brook from a allowed shoulder; respect any posted signage. The cascade runs best in spring and within a day or two of rain. For a real Batten Kill swim, the public pull-offs along VT 7A between Arlington and Sunderland are the better choice.
