Getting there
Pike River Falls is a short cascade on the Pike River in the West Berkshire area of Franklin County. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; surrounding land is largely private farmland. Expect a brief roadside look from a allowed shoulder; do not cross fences. The Pike River is a cool-water tributary of Missisquoi Bay and runs best within a day or two of rain. For a developed Franklin County stop, Lake Carmi State Park beach in Enosburg and Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge in Swanton are the area's stronger choices.
