Getting there
Power Plant Falls is a short cascade associated with a small hydro installation in the Marshfield area of Washington County. The flow here is dam-controlled, so the drop can look big one day and be near-dry the next. This is a viewing-only stop; do not cross utility fencing or descend onto private land around the plant. From Marshfield village on US 2, look for the road near the dam and use a allowed shoulder pull-off. For a real Marshfield-area swim, Molly's Falls Pond State Park to the south has a designated swim shoreline on the reservoir.
