Getting there
Readsboro Falls is a short cascade on a Deerfield River tributary in Readsboro, in the southern Green Mountains of Bennington County. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; the surrounding banks are largely private. Expect a brief roadside look from a allowed shoulder; do not cross fences. The cascade runs best in spring and within a day or two of rain. For a real Deerfield corridor outing, the Somerset Reservoir day-use area in Somerset (dam-controlled, variable access) and the Molly Stark Trail waterfalls near Wilmington are the stronger choices.
