Getting there
Roaring Brook Cascade is a minor set of cascades on Roaring Brook in the town of Stamford, southernmost Vermont (Bennington County), below the Green Mountain National Forest and Molly Stark corridor. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; the surrounding banks are largely private. Expect a short roadside look from a allowed shoulder and a brief scramble down worn paths where public access exists. The brook runs best in spring and within a day or two of rain. For developed nearby stops, the Molly Stark State Park trails (in Wilmington) and the Somerset Reservoir area off VT 100 are the area's stronger choices.
