Getting there
Rockingham Gorge Falls is a short cascade inside a small gorge on the Williams River or one of its tributaries in the town of Rockingham, Windham County, near Bellows Falls. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; the surrounding banks are largely private. Expect a brief roadside look from a allowed pull-off where a public road runs close to the gorge; stay well back from the gorge edge and do not cross fences. The drop runs best in spring and within a day or two of rain. For a developed Windham County stop, the Harriman Reservoir (Lake Whitingham) day-use areas and Molly Stark State Park in Wilmington are the stronger choices.
