Getting there
Roxbury Falls is a small cascade on a brook in the town of Roxbury, Washington County, along the spine of the Green Mountains between Northfield and Warren. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; the surrounding banks are largely private. Expect a brief roadside look from a allowed shoulder; do not cross fences. The cascade runs best in spring and within a day or two of rain. For a developed stop in this corridor, the Wrightsville Reservoir day-use area in Montpelier and the Mad River Valley swims near Warren are the stronger choices.
