Getting there
Sacketts Brook Falls is a small cascade on Sacketts Brook in Putney, Windham County, near the village center. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; the surrounding land is mixed public right-of-way and private parcels. Expect a short roadside look from a allowed pull-off and a brief scramble to the brook. The cascade runs best in spring and within a day or two of rain. For developed Windham County stops, the Rock River swim area along VT 30 south of Newfane and the West River pull-offs near Jamaica and South Londonderry are the area's better-known swims.
