Getting there
Saxtons River Falls is a short fifteen-foot drop on the Saxtons River in the village of Saxtons River, which sits inside the town of Rockingham in Windham County. The falls are just below the Centennial Bridge on Westminster Street / VT 121 as you pass through the village. This is a viewing-only stop from the public sidewalk and the bridge abutment, not a swim -- the river here runs over ledges into a short pool with current and the riverbanks are private. Park in the village on-street or in the small public lot near the post office and walk a block. For a real Saxtons corridor swim, use the Saxtons River Access site in Westminster, a few miles downstream along the river.
