Getting there
South Wardsboro Brook Falls is a small cascade on the South Branch of Wardsboro Brook in Wardsboro, Windham County, in the hills between West River and the Deerfield River watersheds. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; the surrounding banks are largely private. Expect a short roadside look from a allowed shoulder and a brief scramble to the brook where public access exists. The cascade runs best in spring and within a day or two of rain. For developed Windham County stops, Jamaica State Park on the West River and Molly Stark State Park in Wilmington are the area's stronger choices.
