Getting there
Stevens Falls is a short drop on one of the rivers in Barnet, Caledonia County, in the Northeast Kingdom. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; surrounding banks are largely private. Expect a brief roadside look from a allowed shoulder and a short scramble where public access exists. The river runs clear in settled weather and silty after rain. For a developed Northeast Kingdom swim, Ricker Pond and Stillwater in Groton State Forest and Lake Willoughby's beaches in Westmore are the area's stronger choices.
