Getting there
Wheeler Falls is a small cascade on a brook draining into the West River near Jamaica State Park in Jamaica, Windham County. It is and sits in the surroundings of the better-known Hamilton Falls on Cobb Brook; the approach is an unsigned side scramble from the Jamaica State Park / West River Trail corridor, with loose footing and wet rock. Treat this as a secondary scenic stop rather than a destination; for the canonical Jamaica-area scenic falls, use Hamilton Falls on Cobb Brook, reached from the Switchback Trail off the West River Trail. Park at Jamaica State Park (day-use fees apply) and budget real scout time for the Wheeler approach.
