Getting there
Woodbury Falls is a small cascade on a brook in Woodbury, Washington County, in the hills of the state forest-dotted corridor between Hardwick and Calais. It is and does not carry a canonical entry in the main Vermont waterfall references; surrounding banks are a mix of state and private land. Expect an informal path from a allowed shoulder, loose footing, and no signage. The cascade runs best in spring and within a day or two of rain. For a developed swim in the same drive, Caspian Lake public beach in Greensboro and Curtis Pond in Calais are the area's stronger destinations.
